Don't know if this is the best category to post this, but here's a question. Has anyone around here attended the Lions World center in Arkansas? If so, I'm interested to know what kinds of experiences you've had. If you don't want to post here, you can send a private message or an email.
Thanks.
Just this morning, my rehab counselor told me she'd send me information about Lion's World. I'd be interested to hear some experiences as well.
stay as far away as possible. Seriously, unless you're going for the irs class the place is worthless. I was there in 2004 for the microsoft training course. They promise you all these great things, and job opportunities, but they're basically sticking you in a day care with a bunch of retards and unqualified instructors and taking your money. What else? They treat you like a little kid, the campus is about 45 years behind the times, the beds are comparable to park benches, the school is in the middle of the GHETTO, LITTLE ROCK IS A HORSE SHIT TOWN, the food is disgusting and they offer absolutely nothing for recreation.
The one positive thing I can think of is the I.R.S training. If you do well at the initial interview they will train you, and you have a garaunteed job answering the phones making 35,000 a year to start. Do not go there for any reason but the IRS
ditto to the last poster. I went there in 2006 for the "college prep" program, and it was absolutely worthless.
